Twisted Pair

Twisted pair cables are generally much cheaper than coaxial cables and in many cases it is even possible to reuse existing cables on the site, thereby saving not only the cost of the cable, but also the cost of installing the cable. In addition, as the transmission on twisted pair cables is balanced, any hum or noise that is picked up can fairly easily be removed by the receiving equipment.

Ejehsa - Ernitec offers a number of twisted pair transmitters and receivers, depending on the requirements for transmission distance, physical size etc.


65 Series

The 65 series is suitable for the transmission of colour and black and white signals up to distances of 1000 m. The series consists of a boxed transmitter, BVT-65, and a boxed receiver BVR-65.

225 Series

The 225 series is suitable for the transmission of colour and black and white signals up to distances of 2000 m. The series consists of a boxed transmitter, BVT-225, a Euroboard transmitter, EVT-225, a boxed receiver BVR-225 and a Euroboard receiver, EVR-225. In addition, a repeater, BVX-225, is available for transmission distances beyond 2000 m.

Miniature transmitters

Besides the boxed and Euroboard versions, Ernitec also offers a range of miniature transmitters for installation either directly on the camera or inside a camera housing.

The MVT-600 is a miniature video transmitter with a built-in BNC connector for direct mounting on the camera. The MVT-600 can be used with all receivers in the 60 and 225 series for transmission of colour and black and white video up to 1500 m.

The CHM-PSTP/2 is a combined power supply and twisted pair transmitter designed for supply of 12 VDC cameras and fits into the Ernitec CHM and CHN housings. The power supply provides 12 VDC / 400 mA for the camera. The twisted pair transmitter can be used together with the 225 series receivers for black and white transmission up to 2000 m and colour transmission up to 1500 m.

If more power is needed, the MVTPS-225 can be used. The MVTPS-225 is also a combined power supply and twisted pair transmitter. The power supply provides 12 VDC / 750 mA for the camera. The twisted pair transmitter can be used together with the 225 series receivers for black and white and colour transmission up to 2000 m.
