Ernitec’s Saturn Dome offers a superior pan and tilt function with a pan speed of 600°/sec and a tilt speed of 360°/sec. In combination with the intelligent zoom control, it allows the Saturn Dome to switch from one viewing area to another and zoom in within less than half a second.

The high speed of the Saturn Dome could risk leaving the operator behind. To prevent this, 24 zone titles related to the pan angle can be programmed freely. This gives the operator full overview of which direction the camera is pointing. To make life even easier for the operator, the Saturn Dome features proportional pan speed; i.e. the pan speed depends on the zoom setting. The more the operator zooms in, the slower the pan speeds. This gives the operator full control over the dome at any time.

The Saturn Dome is available in both indoor and outdoor versions. The globe comes in either clear, tinted, chrome or gold finish to suit the actual installation.

The Saturn Dome can be controlled either directly from an Ernitec 1501M or 1503M keyboard or from the 500M or 1000M Series Matrix Systems. The protocol is identical to the protocol used by the Ernitec ICU and BDR-5xx Telemetry Receivers, thereby allowing mixed installations.
