| Dallmeier Network
Interface (DNI) | |
| The Dallmeier Network Interface,
DNI for short, has been available for shipment since January.
Using this data interface various kinds of access controls, user panels, and cash dispensers (ATMs) from different manufacturers can be connected with the serial port of the DMS hard disk recorder. An easy to use configuration menu enables the adjustment of all necessary parameters and the device can be installed on a remote site up to 500 metres away. Conversion to the special protocol which is optimised to transmit user data with minimum network loading takes place directly at the interface. The galvanic separation of each interface module connection up to 1KV ensures safety. The network power supply is via BUS cabling and can be provided centrally for several interface units (up to 4 units per power supply). |
